Opening this Saturday (13th April) at Marina Bay Sands, relive your childhood fantasy of traversing through the fantastical world of Alice’s wonderland. Meet the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, and the Queen in this interactive exhibition, where you get to join in the imaginary tea party, shrouded by a LED-lit sparklefest in the background.

2. Free entry to AR experience REWILD Our Planet – 6th April

Get schooled on our dying planet for FREE. From 6th April to 2nd June 2019, The ArtScience Museum is collaborating with Netflix, Google, and World Wide Fund (WWF) to present the first ever social AR experience. Put on your AR headsets and journey through parts of the world in danger of serious environmental damage, and play the role of an active agent to restore life back into the Forests of Borneo and the melting Arctic in virtual time.
Before you make a hasty run for the museum, make sure you reserve a headset in advance.

3. 1-for-1 Tickets to Minimalism: Space.Light.Object. by 14th April

If you’re someone who name drops the words ‘zen’ and ‘minimalistic’ every time someone asks you about your love for Japan or white HDB designs, you’d probably love this one.
Titled Minimalism: Space. Light. Object., the exhibit features over 150 visually captivating works, showcased in two different museums, National Gallery Museum and ArtScience Museum. Immerse yourself in a utopia of sharp lines, empty spaces, and a satisfaction you won’t even get from binge-watching Marie Kondo’s Tidying Up.

4. $12.50 Powerpoint KTV Comedy Show at The Hive Carpenter on April 30

Want to see the funniest and most embarrassing presentation mess ups? Cheeky producers of Powerpoint Karaoke invite you to come and watch their interactive stand-up comedy show on 30th April, where presenters speak on presentation slides that they haven’t seen before. The best part? You, the audience, get to decide what these speakers will present.
Presentation topics range from anything from a PhD thesis talk, to an elevator pitch on a innovative product. Powerpoint Karaoke SG runs a single show on 30 April, Tuesday, from 8pm-9.30pm.

5. Free Workshop - Make a vase out of dog fur in “No Waste Wasted” Workshop on 12-13 April

You read the title. Organisers of “No Waste Wasted” workshop would like to teach you how to use the organic waste that we accumulate from the environment to make art. 6. Free movie screening of Two Sides of the Same Lens: Flooding In The Time of Drought on 11 April

Flooding in the Time of Drought is a two-part documentary slash drama that is inspired by real life experiences of 8 different immigrants, set in a fictional Singapore where migrants grapple with a water crisis that pivots between flooding and droughts. The film explore ideas of the Southeast Asian diaspora in Singapore, geopolitical movements within and between countries, and ethnic discrimination in a neo-exodus.

7. $20 play for My Grandfather’s Road on 18-21 April
Ever wondered what the descendants of road name bearers think about their family’s historical connections to Singapore? Neo Kim Seng, the grandson of Neo Pee Teck of which a road in Pasir Panjang was named after, recounts his childhood and his family history in the attempt to discover his personal identity in a series of stories strung into a play.
The story is told through two language mediums, English and Cantonese for dialect-speaking audiences. Catch this riveting family tale before they conclude on 21 April.

8. Free music and art installation Under the Five Trees at Esplanade Park

Gather your friends and head down to Esplanade Park to catch a sunset display amongst nature, songs, and audio-visual storytelling. The installation requires the use of your phone, so do bring headphones and scan the QR code found at the site.
